How to Choose an SMM Panel? 12 Checks Before You Add Funds
Short answerCheck the panel before you pay, not after. First confirm four dealbreakers: it never asks for your social media password, it publishes written refund rules, it credits undelivered orders automatically, and its support answers before you deposit. Then place a test order at the minimum quantity, which costs about one cent on many services, and deposit more only if the results match the description.

Before you depositWhich 4 Checks Are Dealbreakers, and Which 8 Are Scored?
Not every check carries the same weight. Four of them protect your account and your money, so one failure ends the inspection. The other eight decide how good the panel is.
Fail any one of these, and stop
No price, bonus or fast delivery makes up for these four.
Mark one of these as Fail and the scorecard returns "Walk away", whatever the other results.
Then score these 8
More bars means a bigger effect on your results and costs.
Why Can the Cheapest Panel Cost You More?
The price per 1,000 is only the start. What you really pay for is each unit that arrives and stays. Move the sliders to compare two panels. The starting values are an example, not measured data.
Panel A Higher price
Panel B Lower price
True cost per 1,000 kept
Panel B is 60% cheaper per 1,000 but costs more per unit you keep.
true cost = amount paid ÷ units still there × 1,000
amount paid = price × delivered share, only when the undelivered part is credited
What Are the 12 Checks, and How Do You Run Each One?
Each check takes about two minutes and needs no money. Mark your result as you go. Your marks fill the scorecard further down.
Does it work without your password?
An SMM panel delivers to a public link or username. It never needs to log in to your Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or Telegram account. Anyone who asks for a password, a login code or a two-step verification code can take the account over.
Can you see who runs it?
You want a business you can reach: a country, an email address and support hours in writing.
Are prices public before signup?
A public price list lets you compare before you hand over an email. Hidden prices often hide high minimums.
Are the refund rules written down?
A refund policy is the only promise you can point to later. It should answer three questions in plain words, before you pay.
Does the minimum deposit let you test small?
A low minimum means you can test for a few cents. A high one forces you to trust before you test.
Do you know what happens to your balance?
On most panels a deposit becomes site credit that cannot be withdrawn. That is normal, but you should know it before you deposit more than you plan to spend.
Are undelivered orders credited automatically?
Orders sometimes stop part way. A good panel marks them Partial or Canceled and returns the undelivered part to your balance on its own, without a ticket.
Do service names state the terms?
A useful service name tells you refill, start time, speed and limits before you order.
Can you track every order?
You need an order ID, the start count and a status: Pending, In progress, Completed, Partial or Canceled.
Does support answer before you pay?
Support quality never improves after you deposit. Test it while you still have nothing at stake.
Can you actually claim the refill?
"Refill 30 days" in a name is a promise. Check how you claim it: a Refill button on the order, a ticket, or not at all. Refill covers drops below start count plus the ordered quantity.
Day 20 of a 30-day window, the count is 1,880. You can claim 120.
Does it have tools for scale?
An API, mass orders and a child panel matter if you resell or order often. For one creator, they are a bonus.
How Do You Test a Panel for About One Cent?
The checks above cost nothing. This last step costs a few cents at most and tells you more than any review: place the smallest possible orders and watch what happens.
- 1Pick three services of different typesThe cheapest, one in the middle and one with refill. They behave differently, so one order tells you little.
- 2Use a test account or channelWrite down the start count and the time, or take a screenshot. You need a "before" to judge the "after".
- 3Order the minimum quantityThe minimum is printed next to each service. Use the exact public link the description asks for.
- 4Check at four points in time15 minutes, 2 hours, 24 hours and 7 days. Note the count and the order status each time.
- 5Compare against the descriptionDid it start when promised? Did it finish? Did undelivered units come back as credit? Keep, retest or drop.

Why the 15-minute check matters: in our own paid test on 12 October 2026, Telegram service 18692 delivered all 500 members within 7 minutes 26 seconds. Service 18719 had delivered 6 after 15 minutes, 363 after 2 hours and all 500 by the 24-hour check. Both finished. Only the checkpoints showed the difference. See the full test.

Choosing an SMM Panel: Frequently Asked Questions
01How do I know if an SMM panel is legit?
Check four things before you pay: it never asks for your password, it has a written refund policy, it credits undelivered orders automatically, and its support answers a specific question before you deposit. Then place a test order at the minimum quantity. A panel that passes all four and delivers the test as described is worth a small deposit.
02Is it safe to use an SMM panel?
For your account, the main risk is a panel that asks for your login, so never give a password or login code. Platforms also have their own rules: Instagram's Community Guidelines ask users not to artificially collect likes, followers or shares. Large orders on new or quiet profiles carry more risk, so start small and grow in steps.
03Should I choose the cheapest SMM panel?
Not by price alone. Compare the cost per unit that arrives and stays. A service 60% cheaper per 1,000 can cost more if part of the order never arrives, is not credited back, or drops soon after delivery.
04How much should I deposit first?
The smallest amount the panel accepts. Test orders at minimum quantities often cost under one cent each. On SMM8, three test orders on different services cost $0.011457 in total on 20 October 2026, and the minimum deposit is $1 with Cryptomus.
05Can I get my deposit back from an SMM panel?
Usually not as cash. Most panels keep deposits and refunds as account credit for future orders. Read the refund policy for the words withdraw, transfer and balance before you deposit, and deposit only what you plan to spend.
06What does refill mean in an SMM panel?
Refill means the panel tops back up units that dropped after delivery, inside a set window such as 30 or 90 days, up to your start count plus the quantity you ordered. Check how it is claimed: a Refill button on the order, a support ticket, or not at all.
07What does Partial mean on an order?
Partial means only part of the order was delivered. On a good panel, the undelivered part is credited to your balance automatically. For example, an order of 1,000 that stops at 700 should return 30% of its cost.
08Does an SMM panel need my password?
No. SMM panel services work with a public link or username. A request for a password, login code or two-step verification code is a reason to leave.
09What is the best SMM panel?
There is no single best panel for everyone, and lists of "best panels" are often written by the panels themselves. The best panel for you is the one that passes the four dealbreakers, scores well on the eight weighted checks for your path, and delivers your own test orders as described.
10How long should I test a panel before ordering more?
Check a test order at 15 minutes, 2 hours, 24 hours and 7 days. The early checks show start time and speed. The 7-day check shows drops and whether refill works.
11What should resellers check in an SMM panel?
Everything a personal buyer checks, plus a public API with add, status, balance and refill actions, mass orders, a child panel option, and start counts on every order so you can settle client questions. Retest your main services regularly, because rates and providers change.
Inspect First, Then Spend One Cent, Then Decide
Run the 12 checks on any panel, SMM8 included. If it passes, place three test orders at the minimum quantity and read the results at 15 minutes, 2 hours, 24 hours and 7 days.
